Carmen is well again!! We are able to go Hankou Shopping Mall! We had a rather unpleasant morning but oh well, it is just due to some misunderstanding and communication breakdown.
Anyway, we still headed for Hankou and grab our lunch. I ordered crabby porridge cost about RMB 22. The porridge is delicious and reminds me of home. It tasted like my mum’s cooking. I could finish them all even though it is about 2 servings.
We went to shopping afterwards and lost the REB girls. Baohui, Carmen and I decided to shop our own and I bought a tee shirt in the mall and a belt from METERBROWE. I love it and I hoped that I can wear them often in Singapore. The Portuguese tart tasted heavenly. I thought Portuguese egg tart tasted the best in KFC, but it proved me wrong. I’ll buy more if I have a chance to go to Hankou again.
At around 3pm, we met up with the rest and left Hankou and walked to Da Jia Jie. I heard that we walked 5km for 2 hours. It is the longest and furthest walk I had in my 18 years of life. The street is pretty old and sells things like a larger scale of Singapore’s wet market. The road is filled with cracks and often I would be almost to be in state where I almost fell down.
We walked and reach to Shimao centre. It brings a huge contrast between Da Jia Jie since one looked luxurious, while the other looked lowdown. Even their toilets are so much cleaner than the rest about the ones like Paragon.
We ate Macdonald for our dinner and obviously, I think Macdonald in China is better than Singapore.
